(Orientation Programme for the MBA July 2010 batch of students from 26-28 July, 2010)


BSB, Delhi Campus organized its Orientation Programme for Post Graduate Program in Business Practices and Corporate Leadership, July 2010 batch from 26-28 July, 2010. The programme was conducted in the Institute's beautiful auditorium and was attended by the Director along with several activity chairpersons including Dean Academics and Dean Administration and several faculty members and officers.

The inaugural function was part of three days long orientation programme that included havan for the successful academic life of the students .The havan was attended by the new students, their parents, faculty members and Heads of Institutions.

Day 1 of the PGP Orientation Program was dedicated to an introduction to the various clubs at BSB and work to be expected over the next 2 years. The Dean Academics, Ms. Kanwal Thakkar in her welcome address gave a snapshot of the Institute's activities and urged them to utilize the two years to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes required to become effective organizational leaders. She exhorted them to challenge the teachers and colleagues by asking difficult questions and to infect the Institute with their enthusiasm to learn and improve the working of the Institute.

An eminent personality "Colonel Sunil Prem "Director of (Navyug Electronics and AV-Energies) was invited as Guest of Honour who shared his views regarding becoming a successful entrepreneur on the first day of the orientation programme.

Day 2 was an ice-breaker session, where students were divided into groups, and competed against each other in fun team-building exercises like treasure hunt ,painting competition ,carom competition and table tennis throughout the day, in order to facilitate everyone getting to know their fellow batch mates during the PGP Commencement. Movie Screening & discussion was also a part of the second day activity.

Day 3 included a session on management games like talent hunt competition and word craft. The BSB,Delhi Campus ,PGP orientation program concluded with the inspiring words by Dean Administration Ms Anjana Chugh .In her speech she guided the students on how they could truly benefit from management education program and gear up for the dynamic business scenario. She also shared views on how knowledge management could help the students become better professionals.
