Freshers Bash for July 08 Batch
Bangalore School of Business Delhi Campus welcomed its freshers by organizing its Freshers Bash for July 08 batch MBA students on 20th September 08. The program was organized to provide the freshers a platform to showcase their talents and to interact with their seniors. The event marks the formal beginning of a new life for the postgraduate students of the Institute. One of the main objectives to organize such an event is to bring together all the students of BSB.

Students of Semester II welcomed their juniors with gifts and flowers.

Flashing lights, foot-thumping music, high spirits of the students and and Miss/Mr. Fresher contest marked the event.

The bash started with first round of Miss/Mr. Fresher contest. 20 students (10 boys and 10 girls) had already been shortlisted through various preliminary rounds. The students walked the ramp in western formal dresses in the first round. After that there was a group dance performance by girls which was followed by solo song performances, mono acting etc. In the second round of Miss/Mr. Fresher contest students were given 1 minute time to perform anything of their choice. Thereafter some more singing performances and dance performances were given by students from all the 4 sections. In the final round of Miss/Mr. Fresher contest students again walked the ramp in Indian traditional dresses, ramp show was followed by Question-Answer round.

The contest was judged by Ms.Sonali,a Fashion Designer and Senior faculty at Pearl Academy of Fashion.

The event was very well anchored by Sem II students Rahul Marwah and Ishant Grover.

Rupesh Sharma bagged Mr. Fresher award and the title for Miss Fresher was clinched by Shobhika Shukla.

Thereafter all the students enjoyed delicious lunch.

And the bash didn’t stop there…..it ended on a happy note with 3 hour long DJ party with students dancing on latest foot tapping Hollywood and Bollywood numbers.
