 There are Jobs, there are Job-aspirants and one requires just an arena for bringing them together. The Multi-Industry Job-Fair held on 29th May’ 2010 & pioneered by Bangalore School of Business, Delhi Campus proved to be a perfect stage to congregate both.
The upward trend in economy has signified a new dawn for Job-aspirants with Sixteen Companies from diverse sectors like Financial Advisory & Research, Banking, Education, Telecom, market Research; Travel & Media have opened their hiring-gates for this event. Students from BSB and other colleges have shown great enthusiasm with over 300 students giving interviews in the 594 vacancies in participating companies.
 The journey matters as much as the goal. For all BSB students the journey had been great without doubt and their labor for the last two years has borne fruit in the form of Job-Offers. The pre placement jitters at the beginning of the day were replaced by thoughtful deliberations and prudent decision making as the day proceeded to begin a very eventful and decisive day in the lives of 162 short listed students roaring to go out in the corporate world and make a difference.
The event included pre-interview workshop on Employability skills and personality Development in association with Scaling Heights- an IIM Alumni Venture, which was held on 27th and 28th May’2010. This workshop helped a lot in the last minute preparation of students & boosted their morale, a pre-requisite for any interview.

The companies participated in the job fair received over-whelming response from students and gave assurance for a mutually beneficial relationship in years to come.
