J.R.D TATA MEMORIAL LECTURE


Date and Venue: JRD TATA memorial lecture held on 11th August in Hotel TAJ New Delhi

The students of BSB attended the JRD Tata Memorial Lecture on the 11th August 2011 at Hotel Taj, New Delhi. At the seminar, the President of ASSOCHAM Mr. Dilip Modi greeted the legend business tycoon, the chairman of ADITYA BIRLA GROUOP Mr.Kumar mangalam  Birla with all the guests including some CEO   and  media  persons who came from abroad to attain the Event.Kumar Mangalam Birla spoke on the topic of “ NAVIGATING INDIA TO THE CHOPPY WORLD”. While addressing the gathering, he spoke about the current economic scenario of INDIA and how India is exploring her wings to the every corner of the world. He said that country like South Africa and other European countries are opening their gateway for India for a free trade in their markets. After his speech Kumar Mangalam Birla interacted with the gathering during Question and Answer session. During question and answer session he spoke about his way of LEADERSHIP and the problems which organizations are facing to get the government approval for free trade in overseas.

Students came away a wiser lot for the brief glimpse they got about one who has forever left his footprints in the sands of time. Overall it was an interactive and erudite session.
