RAZZMATAZZ 2011, BSB Delhi
Bangalore School of Business, Delhi Campus celebrated its
annual festival “RAZZMATAZZ” on the 11th November
2011. A highly awaited fest, Razzmatazz brought together a
myriad of events and activities that all colleges look forward
to round the year. Razzmatazz hosted a galaxy of events aimed
at boosting the technical and managerial skills which are
inherent in today’s students and provide them with an
opportunity to showcase their conceptual depth, innovative
ideas and presentation skills. The events at Razzmatazz were
mainly aimed at improving the employability of students and
proved to be the ultimate test of grit, knowledge and skill
and also provided a platform for the perfect blend of team
spirit, logic and creativity.
The event began with the auspicious rendering of the Sarawati
Vandana followed by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony.
The Dean, Ms Anjana Chugh warmly welcomed all and formally
inaugurated the event.
To start with there was the Rangoli Competition, Ad Mad Show,
Table Tennis and Pool Challenge. The Ad mad show reflected
the creativity, marketing skills and the ability of the students
to create an image in the minds of consumers. The participants
of Ad Mad showed humorous depictions of real life incidents
to promote the products that ranged from Soaps, Detergent,
and Shampoo to footwear. The Table Tennis and Pool Challenge
were fought to the finish with the game going down to the
wire. Later it was Collage Making and Face Painting followed
by Solo Dance and Group Dance. The theme of the face painting
competition was “Save the planet Earth”. For the
Collage the theme was India:-traditionalism vs modernism.
The students showed stupendous creativity, amazing skill and
techniques at the face painting and collage making competition.
The Solo Dance showed wide spectrum of dance forms from bihu
to bhangra to the graceful bharatnatayam. The Business Quiz
“:Bizcraft” was toughly contested with eight teams
from six different colleges who cleared the qualifying round.
A variety of business topics from common taglines and logos
to tough business rounds kept the participants with their
finger on the buzzer and the audience enthralled. There were
intermittent performances by BSB students in the form of skit,
dance, poetry, presentations to break the monotony of the
events. The events for the first half was judged by Mr. Satyendra
Mallik (Director and VP , Global Head of Human Resource and
Planning, Infinity Advertising Services (P) Ltd. ) and the
events for the second half was judged by Ms Pragati Sood ,
a Kathak Dancer who has been successful in discovering and
shaping her dance with a distinct style. She has a number
of solo performances to her credit and is also well versed
in Bharatnatyam.
The event was sponsored by Har Khabar (News Channel), Synergy
Environics Ltd., Every Other Day, Noida, Punjab Opticals,
Vijay Electronics, Impact printers and designers, Galgotia
Publishing House.

All participants were handed certificates of participation.
The day ended on a high note with the students grooving to
the beats at the Rocknite JAM session.
There were numerous stalls of games and books and the lavish
food court, which did more than just satisfy your palate.
The gala event was full of action with live and a great audience
creating a memorable annual festival.
