The manner in which the day was first instituted, the sore
struggle and small beginning of that day compared with the
greatness and abounding prosperity of present imparted us
that “Accomplishment and success, often is a result
of perseverance and hard work rather than skill and talent”.
A well thought orientation program is essential for all
the new comers. It is basically a ‘CORDIAL’
program that is organized by any organization to get acquaint
with the fresher’s. The sole purpose behind such program
is to help employees to feel bonded to the organization
and learning about its culture .
“BSB- SPARSH” “(name of orientation program)
was held on 25th July 2011 with the aim of grooming and
motivating the new and diverse entrants, so as to lead them
towards the path way of becoming future professionals.
It inculcated the values and attributes of MBA’ship.
Moreover it assisted the students to develop a sense of
commitment towards their career goals through the esteemed
speeches delivered by the adept lecturers.
The big day dawn was further followed up by the multiple
methods of interactions like :
ICE BREAKING Sessions – activity based event in-order
to get to know your new friends & peers.
Presentation on Body Language enhanced the outlook of students
from Corporate Point of View, followed by various creative
activities like Face Painting, ADDZAP, Business Quiz &
other subsequent Role Play activities where is emphasis
was laid on importance of personality development.
Qualified & Experienced Professors ensured that the
uniform delivery of Course Content. They also threw light
over the entire MBA program. Placement Team – dwelt
upon the various placement opportunities available to MBA
students upon completion of course. Placement team also
elaborated about functioning of placement team. The key
element of the Placement Team presentation was about the
importance of Positive Attitude towards work, which guided
us to the fact that life is sea of opportunities and if
one has the courage to take the plunge ahead and test the
waters. The Orientation Program prepares the students mentally
to take up the forth coming challenges.
The final event on Orientation Calender was a Day Trip
to WONDERLAND, a fantastic theme park, a thrilling expeience
enjoyed by all students and support staff members.
The Orientation week concluded with brief review of the
Orientation Week and issue of Certificates to the participants.
