Teacher's Day 2011, BSB Delhi
In India 5th September is celebrated as Teachers' day as a
mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the
society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher
Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of
education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, president
of India and above all a teacher. All across the world, Teacher's
Day celebrations are undertaken to honor teachers for their
sincere efforts to impart knowledge to their students.

To pay their respect and express their gratitude to the
faculty members, the students of BSB celebrated teacher’s
day with gusto and zeal. The teacher’s day celebration
was held at Antardhwani, auditorium of BSB. The programme
started with lighting the lamp by director, dean, HOD’s
and all faculty members. The students of BSB Delhi organized
various dance and music shows as well as game shows for
the teachers like passing the parcel etc. They also felicitated
the director, dean, HOD’s and faculty members with
titles, mementos and creative cards made by the students
themselves. Light snacks were served to all present.
